Our
Story
My husband and I have been married for 17 years this year (2025). We have three amazing boys. We live on this large farm with my husbands family. Cattle is something my husband has always been around. Cattle farming was all new to me when we married. In late 2024 we had this idea to venture out and invest in the Akaushi (Wagyu) breed of cattle. We had predominantly worked with Angus and Black Baldy in the past. So in January of 2025 we purchased two Akaushi bulls. Jokingly one morning on his way out the door to go to work we were discussing our recent purchase he said, "these are some Boujee bulls we just bought!" I kind of laughed and we both look at each other and without missing a beat we both said, Boujee Beef" and that is how we came up with the name Boujee Beef and Cattle. Akaushi are known for the incredible marbling and buttery flavor the meat offers. We don't manage all this alone. We have help from family and friends. It takes all of us to keep this going.
